Cote +4m entre les deux jetées. Grande jetée Ouest prolongée par un enrochement : balise et feu rouge. Jetée Est en enrochement submersible par coefficient 100 : balise feu vert. Chenal d’entrée balisé.
Accès au bassin
Cote +5m au seuil du bassin. Balises et feux rouges et verts dans le chenal. Signaux de trafic à l’entrée du bassin.
Porte abattante de 1.30m de hauteur.
Retenue d’eau : 2.30m.
Échelle de marée sur la balise rouge. Priorité à l’entrant

Cap de Carteret : height 80 m. Telecommunications mast with fixed red lights.
Entry
Dries +4m between the jetties. West jetty : red beacon and red light, occulting, 4 seconds. East jetty green beacon and green light, flashing twice, 2 1/2 seconds. East jetty submerged when tide coefficient is 100 or more. Entrance channel is marked by beacons with commercial activities to port. Channel dries +4m to +4.5m.
Access to marina
Sill +5m between the 2 lights. Red and green beacons in the fairway, red and green flashing lights.
Gate : 1.30m. Depth of water retained : 2.30m. Traffic lights indicate if the marina is open or closed. They are situated to port adjacent the harbour office. Depth gauge on the red entry beacon. Incoming priority.
Bon sens nautique / Nautical safety
3 feux de régulation sont également situés au niveau de la gare maritime lors des manœuvres du ferry si ces feux sont au rouge = la circulation est interdite. Rien ne sert de passer la porte rapidement il suffit simplement de contrer le courant !
3 control lights are also located at the ferry terminal during ferry maneuvers if these lights are on red = traffic is prohibited.

La vitesse est limitée à 3 nœuds dans la zone du bassin à flot et de 5 nœuds dans la partie marnante. À l’ouverture de la porte il peut y avoir un fort courant lors de son passage pour une durée de 15 à 30 minutes (en fonction des coefficients).
